Bella Vista’s older homes have character that newer construction doesn’t — detailed trim work, wood accents, and rooms that reward careful brushwork. Brush Brothers brings 25+ years of experience and Sherwin-Williams premium products to every interior job we take on in this community.
Bella Vista’s housing stock skews older than most NWA communities — many homes were built between the 1960s and 1990s. That means more profile trim work, more surface prep challenges, and more situations where the existing paint has been layered over multiple previous coats. Getting a clean, lasting finish on older interior surfaces requires more prep time than a new-construction repaint, and we account for that in our process — not as an afterthought.
We fill nail holes and surface cracks before priming, sand all glossy surfaces for adhesion, and prime bare patches and areas where we’re making significant color changes. On homes built before 1978, we take additional precautions around existing paint — if you have questions about lead paint on your property, we’re happy to discuss how we approach that before work starts. Our job is to leave you with walls and trim that look right, hold up, and reflect the care your home deserves. Last Updated: April 2026.
Six steps from first call to final walkthrough. The prep determines how long the finish holds.
We walk the rooms with you, note current surface conditions, discuss color direction, and provide a firm quote. We account for all prep scope in the estimate — no surprise change orders after we start.
We move furniture to the center of the room, cover with drop cloths, and protect all floors and trim not being painted. We treat your home like we’d want ours treated.
All nail holes, hairline cracks, and surface damage are filled and sanded smooth. Glossy surfaces are lightly sanded for adhesion. Bare patches and heavy color changes receive a primer coat before topcoat.
All trim lines, ceiling edges, and corner cuts are done by brush before rolling. Clean lines at trim and ceiling are where paint jobs visually succeed or fail — this step doesn’t get rushed.
We apply two full coats of Sherwin-Williams paint to all walls. One coat is not a finish — it’s an undercoat. Two coats produces even color, better hide, and a finish that holds up to cleaning and light scuffs.
Before we leave, we walk every room with you. Any touchups get done on the spot. Furniture goes back, drop cloths come up, and the room is left ready to use.
Every project is quoted after an in-person walkthrough. These ranges reflect real jobs in Bella Vista and Northwest Arkansas.
Pricing depends on square footage, number of rooms, ceiling height, surface prep scope, and number of colors. Older homes with more profile trim work typically require more time on cut-in work. All quotes are firm before work begins.
Our 5 Google Rating comes from homeowners who trusted us in their homes — and hired us back. Upfront pricing, clean jobsites, no surprises.
If anything fails in the first year — adhesion, missed spots, peeling — we come back and fix it at no charge. No negotiations, no invoices.
We use top quality Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore products on all interior jobs. Premium paint means better hide, better washability, and a finish that holds up to real life.
We scope the full job during the estimate. The price you approve is what you pay. We don’t expand scope after work starts without a conversation and your sign-off.
We’ll walk the rooms with you, discuss what needs to be done, and give you a firm quote. No pressure, no obligation. Takes two minutes to schedule.
